All the proceeds from the race will benefit the Duncanville ISD Education Foundation.  Visions and new opportunities come true with funds provided for educators and students from the Duncanville ISD Education Foundation. The Education Foundation generates and distributes resources to Duncanville ISD teachers for programs and projects that enhance the quality of education and provide students with  opportunities  to  become  contributing  citizens. 

The sole purpose of the Education Foundation is to fund the creative and innovative techniques developed by teachers. Teachers express their creative ideas for project-based learning opportunities in the classroom in an annual grant application process submitted to the Education Foundation. The projects the Foundation Board believes will have the greatest impact on classroom learning are chosen for funding in May and implemented in the following school year.
